I purchased this dump pouch for AR-15 rifle shooting, as well as some IDPA shooting.... The pouch has many uses besides for shooting though. After receiving the pouch, which is constructed very superbly, I noticed that it can attach to many things...a belt, molle webbing, and etc... it can hold a Nalgene water bottle with room to spare...it has cinch ties to close it securely. It will also hold all the brass picked up from an IDPA shoot, which is really nice for those who reload their own ammo.

I highly recommend this pouch for shooting, camping, hiking, or whatever you need to hold in it... it is great!

I was looking for a pouch that I could easily hang off of a military/police belt and load with loose shotgun shells for a shtf situation, or just range shooting.

Most of the bags I looked at:

had elastic slots for each shell
(did not want to have to mess with that in a high stress situation, AND they only hold a limited number of shells)

or

were just a paper shopping bag shape with an open top
(shells could fall out if I crouched, was running, etc.)

Then I found this pouch.
It easily holds 25 loose shells with room to spare - could probaly get 50 loose shells in there.
It has a cinch top so that it no longer has that paper shopping bag shape - it holds the loose shells in nicely BUT I can still reach in there and get a shell.

It also has this 'roll up' feature, which is nice, but I did not buy it for that.

Overall, as a pouch it is great.
High quality materials.
High quality construction.

Would buy another without hesitation.

A little uncomfortable when rolled up on the belt and tight for tactical belts. It is fantastic for shooting, mushroom hunting or small game hunting though. Not sure what the benefit of rolling it up is, seems like just a durable pouch like this one is unrolled would do the trick fine and be cheaper.
