This was a good item to have on those sunny days for my newborn. However, it did not fit my carseat very well (I have a chicco carseat). It has velcro closinging at they would not stay closed. If I could go back, I would get the type of cover that just lays over the carseat instead of one that needs to be closed.

the colors are just as shown. However, it is definetly not for very low temps. It will be best used for wind. I guess you could add a blanket to the baby and then use this. Pretty though
